This dental office in Breaux Bridge, LA has been serving patients in the area for over 50 years. Dr. Ryan Terry and Dr. Bennett Fontenot have assembled a team of skilled dental professionals who are not only well-trained and experienced in their fields but are also friendly, caring, and always eager to take the time to explain procedures and discuss your dental care.

Dr. Ryan C. Terry, DDS
Dr. Ryan C. Terry, owner of Breaux Bridge Family Dentistry, is Louisiana-born and raised. Originally from Bossier City, Dr. Terry graduated Valedictorian from Airline High School. While in high school, he competed in football and basketball receiving Academic All-State awards in both sports.
After graduation, his academic career continued at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches. After 4 years, he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Biology and a double minor in chemistry and microbiology. While in college Dr Terry met his beautiful wife, Meghan. He then decided to further his academic career and applied to dental school. To his delight, he was accepted to LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. Dr. Terry graduated from LSUSD in 2008 and has been treating the people of Breaux Bridge, Lafayette, and its surrounding areas ever since.
Dr. Terry and his wife are blessed with 4 children: Lyla, Noah, Reese, and Dylan. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Terry enjoys hunting, fishing, working in his garden, and playing a little golf. He also coaches various youth sports teams and tries to put his Catholic faith into practice daily. Family is very important to Dr. Terry and he views his staff and patients as an extension of that family.
Dr. Bennett Fontenot, DDS
Dr. Bennett Fontenot received both his Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science degrees from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette and was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He went on to receive a Medical Technologist degree from Confederate Memorial Medical Center in Shreveport and then pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans.
After graduating from dental school in 1977, Dr. Fontenot established the Family and Cosmetic Dental Center in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, and has been in continuous practice for 36 years.
In 1984, in recognition of his professional excellence, Dr. Fontenot was appointed by Governor Edwin Edwards to the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry. He has been a member of:

Dr. Fontenot was named as one of America's Top Dentists in 2008 by the Consumer's Research Council of America and was featured in Who's Who in the South and Southwest. Dr. Fontenot also founded the first Fresh Breath Clinic in Acadiana and was featured on KATC television.
For the past 13 years, Dr. Fontenot has limited his practice to dentures and partial dentures and has delivered over 8100 dentures in his career. As a Certified Geneva Practitioner, he has delivered over 1100 Geneva 2000 dentures. As founder of the Geneva Dental Institute South, Dr. Fontenot conducts seminars for dentists across the nation who want to improve their denture skills.
Dr. Fontenot is married to Karen Karre Fontenot, and they have three adult children, Ben, Katherine, and Elizabeth. He and his wife are members of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, and they received the Catholic School Achiever/Supporter of the Year Award at Our Lady of Fatima School in 2000-2001. Dr. Fontenot enjoys dove hunting and tennis.
Geneé Hebert - Registered Dental Hygienist
A native of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Geneé is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has been practicing with Dr. Fontenot for 30 years. She is a graduate of Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, Louisiana.
Geneé has worked with the National Foundation for Handicapped Children and the Campaign for Concern for some 23 years. She cannot imagine working with a better team and she enjoys all of her wonderful patients.
